Review on Flex Head Ratchet Handle And Socket Set By DURATECH - 3/8-Inch Drive, 72-Tooth, Quick Release, Reversible Switch, Full-Polished Chrome Plating, Made From High-Quality Alloy Steel by Scott Kulothungan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid positive engaging clicks on head

The 90° bending both ways head is the selling feature.Stays in place pretty ok. Will flop around if you swing it, but holds even when loaded if steady handed.Seems to work fine as ratchet, we'll see when it gets used this next 4 weeks on the L28ET engine installation on the Datsun. This will allow me to finagle into some places without necessitating variable adapters which would then be too long to fit behind or between certain car parts.Obviously, if this fails in any way it'll be useless, and would need to lose 4 stars.Any issues and I would update. Success if no changes and I don't have to update!

Pros
  • Reversible & Quick Release Design: Flush mounted reversing lever allows you to change direction without removing the socket from the fastener. Quick release button allows sockets and drive tools to be easily removed from the ratchet, save time and effort, improve working efficiency.
Cons
  • The mechanism that keeps sockets securely attached to the ratchet handle is not very reliable, causing sockets to fall off during use
