Smaller than the actual size

I bought these shirts for my husband in a size Large which that’s his actual size, but according to him they feel much smaller and the sleeves are too short on him

The sleeves and shoulders are fine but the body of the shirt is to short. 3 to 4 inches longer would be perfect, taking in consideration that I''m only 5''9"
