A new purchase, so I cannot talk about the durability over time. However, I first connected it to my ATI graphics card via HDMI. The text was less than outstanding. I tried various options. I improved it by setting Clear Type in Win10 but it was still a bit blurry. Tried to live with it for a day or two and just couldn't. I decided to return it. Before that, I tried display port. Problem solved. As expected, the text is clear and clear. I'm going ahead and not necessarily blaming the monitor as my graphics card is outdated, but I've seen other reviews where blurry text was an issue so thought I'd share my experience.
