UPDATE to UPDATE (upgraded from 2 stars to 5 stars): I contacted Wellmax about a problem with their copper clad aluminum alloy (CCA) wiring. They came right back to me! They have assured me that they always use all copper wire (and never use CCA wire because they fully understand CCA's poor durability), but check with their supplier. In the meantime they sent me a replacement set and I received it within a few days. On closer inspection, it is actually copper wire, not CCA. I suspect their supplier slipped some CCA harnesses and I fell victim to one of them. Thank you Velmax. Everything else in this kit is also top notch and we recommend this kit. UPDATE (downgraded from 5 stars to 2 stars): Please note that the wiring is copper aluminum wire (CCA). And that means the wiring is aluminum and is very susceptible to rapid oxidation and becoming very tame. It is fragile at first and only gets worse with time and exposure to the elements. I live in a fairly rainy environment and the core in the ground wire (white) fell apart within 6 months and was no longer used (the wire was completely oxidized along its entire length). Since the wire is being pushed into the main connector, I now need to replace all of the wiring. I will change the wiring to 16 gauge copper wire (not aluminum). If you live in a very dry climate, copper clad aluminum might be the way to go. The other components of this kit are of excellent quality and there have been no problems with them. Copper plated aluminum wire is aluminum wire that has been treated with a small amount of copper plating. The actual copper coating on a wire is extremely thin and is used primarily to give the appearance of copper. When new, it looks like copper wire from the outside, but there's cheap aluminum underneath a very thin layer of copper. CCA is used to reduce costs as copper is much more expensive than aluminum. Candles look great. When ordering I was concerned that the length of wire would be short but was very pleasantly surprised to find the length was much longer than I needed for my 12 foot trailer. Good guide there. A nice bonus was the included license plate holder, which I used in place of the bent, rusty metal holder. I definitely recommend this set. The first trip with a trailer took 4 hours on the interstate in heavy rain. All the LEDs were bright all the time.
