As a result, the laptop immediately turned off.
When I connected the device to my laptop (Macbook) it immediately turned off. I am assuming this means some sort of short in the physical board design I received or the overall board design. I have bought other HiLetgo modules in the past (including ESP32 in other form factors) and they have worked. Spring. Module date code: T7_V1.3 20181008
