I’d had enough of having to trim and sand recent hives I bought from M.L., so thought I’d try another brand. I’m done with struggling to trim the box so the really poorly cut pieces would even fit together, then using wood filler on the resulting gaps.Everything on this hive fit together beautifully with a little help from a rubber mallet. The holes for the provided screws are pre-drilled and there was one extra screw left over. The frames were precisely cut and easy to assemble, with 21 nails left over. The only thing not provided was the wood glue.The finished hive is really attractive as well as sturdy. I’ll definitely buy again, even though I’d usually prefer an American made product to Chinese made as this is.
