I usually wear mid-length shorts for American women. These shorts fit me well in size M. The sewing quality seems ok. I only give these 3 stars because the padding is uncomfortable for me. The padding on these shorts is wider and bulkier than other cycling shorts I own. This extra padding is bulky and uncomfortable when I'm pedaling my bike. I ride a road bike, so I always lean a little forward. Maybe folks with mountain bikes or commuter bikes sit further and don't mind the wide padding.
