Cute back cover SmartKey core design that requires special tool and skill to remove is rendered useless by the fact that anyone with a screwdriver can easily remove the lock case from the door handle via a convenient round slot and get direct access to the drive. This attack makes very little noise, and if done carefully, the lock body can be reinstated at a later date to hide evidence that the attack took place. The lock's function will likely deteriorate after such an attack, but not so much that it's immediately noticeable. Look for pricier models that don't have that round slot in the handle on the unsafe side. The knot looks good and is easy to attach. It even comes with rounded and square locking plates. Too bad about the trivial bypass.
