Review on 🚽 Silent and Efficient 2 Inch Sewage Pump or Sump Pump Check Valve by Jason Pinkney

I installed this valve when replacing a sewage pump in the basement and so far it is working as expected. One of the advantages for me was the clear plastic body design as it provides an easy way to determine if the check valve is working properly. Installation is fairly simple and straightforward, anyone with basic mechanical skills can turn it off with minimal difficulty. Although it costs a little more than some other valves on the market, it looks well made and with this type of work - where things can get a little messy - I'm willing to spend the extra money to fit quality parts and the cost to minimize chance of failure. Update 12/2021: The valve still works perfectly, except for the clear plastic - it's no longer clear and the check valve isn't visible, which was an advantage for me. Nothing special and really not too surprising considering what it's going through. But still, this is something I thought others might want to know.
