Leak at zero pressure. Avoid!

Water leakage at the junction of two transparent plastic parts. After a full installation I opened a trickle of water from above and it started to flow. I can only imagine if I turned on the pump at full pressure. Where can I send an invoice for the current rate of $150 per hour for wasted time?

Easy to install and quiet

I needed to replace a 20 year old pump and decided to replace the old check valve as well. This one has the same rubber connector and clamp system as the old one and it only took 15 minutes to install, including cutting a few inches of PVC pipe. (This unit is longer than the old one.) I'm very happy with how quiet it is! We used to hear some loud pops in the middle of the night when the water softener was charging and running down the canal elevator due to water hitting the valve as it closed…

Works great, easy installation, big plus is the transparent valve body.

I installed this valve when replacing a sewage pump in the basement and so far it is working as expected. One of the advantages for me was the clear plastic body design as it provides an easy way to determine if the check valve is working properly. Installation is fairly simple and straightforward, anyone with basic mechanical skills can turn it off with minimal difficulty. Although it costs a little more than some other valves on the market, it looks well made and with this type of work…
