The side-lit display doesn't do that well in dark scenes, but it does it well enough. The display has terrible viewing angles, but that's to be expected from the panel you're using. My biggest gripe, however, is how large the bezels are. If you're thinking about using multiple displays in the future, DON'T UNDERSTAND IT, but if you only use 1 display and need a decent display, GO. I'm very happy with it, but I would like a display with a thinner bezel.
