Review on ๐ŸŒณ DEWENWILS Outdoor Power Stake Timer with Photocell & Wireless Remote Control: 6 Waterproof Grounded Outlets, Raintight & UL Listed, Green by Derek Faseworld

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Where has it been all my life?

This is a very handy device for Christmas lights. It turns a power cord into 6 outlets. My first one broke and I emailed the manufacturer. He immediately sent me a replacement. This power plant uses a stake driven into the turf/dirt. It is made of plastic, so there is a high risk of breakage. The remote control is incredibly helpful. There are on, off, sensor, timer buttons and separate 2 o'clock, 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock buttons, as well as a built-in circuit breaker to prevent overloads. There is one downside that I experienced. Each of the sockets has a spring-loaded door. These doors do not open fully. So if you are trying to connect a lamp or device that uses a built-in transformer, such as a B. Cell phone chargers, it will not work. And my lamps have these transformers. I ended up using 3 prong adapters as standoffs to push the transformers away from the sockets, but it would have been better if the spring doors opened flush against the case. Although it sounds like a negative review, there are many reviews about this device. pleases. The remote control works perfectly. The ability to multiply a socket by 6 is very important for large Christmas light displays and the ability to remotely control the power supply to light displays is very useful. If those spring doors lay flat, this arrangement would be perfect.
