Review on Reli. Biodegradable 33 Gallon Trash Bags - Eco Friendly Garbage Bags (100 Count Bulk) by Sandra Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I haven't used too many biodegradable bags

I chose biodegradable bags because plastic is destroying our planet. A few years ago I worked in a plastics factory doing R&D and making biodegradable plastic from glycerin, starch, calcium, LDP and HDP. That was 15 years ago and the research wasn't that popular. I remember the quality of the garbage bags I made was not as durable as these garbage bags. They are definitely HDPE because they DO NOT stretch. Despite the fact that these bags don't stretch, they are quite durable. I only ripped open one package and that's because of the box I threw in the trash. All in all I think this is a pretty good buy. You're helping the environment and that's a good thing. Advantages: durability, environmental friendliness, good price, fast delivery. Cons: No stretch, pockets not as big as advertised. I use a 20 gallon trash can and they don't quite fit in so everyone can see what's in your trash. In an apartment with municipal waste, that would be a problem.

  • Trash bags
