Review on ๐Ÿž๏ธ Zoo Med Labs Nano Breeze Aluminum Screen Cage: Optimal Enclosure for Small Pets by Lisa Wilson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So close to five stars apart from these issues

The product itself I am very happy with. My son recently caught a predatory praying mantis and this makes a much better home for the creatures my son catches. Here are the questions I had.1. The direction was terrible. The images are too small and blurry, so the zoom doesn't work either.2. I researched them on the internet. Finding her was pretty easy. But the online looked very different. Once loaded I was able to zoom in far enough to see enough letters to figure it out. Of course, my eyesight isn't what it used to be, but even my son with perfect eyesight couldn't see it clearly.3. The problem was that the bottom bar was missing 2 letters from the correct side. I needed more time to figure it out. In the end I decided to just keep going and see if I run into any problems. I didn't do this, so it was an issue with mislabeled parts. Normally this wouldn't bother me that much, but when the instructions are so difficult to read and then you run into a problem like this, it's a bit frustrating. If I didn't do this for my son I would just send him back and not mess with him. After assembling it, I liked the cage. There are some issues with the knobs to lock the doors. 2 out of 3 of them are faulty and misaligned. So when I open and close it, it adjusts and moves the whole thing around a bit. I could see it eventually causing problems with long-term use. Overall I am happy with the end product. I would easily give this product five stars if the direction were changed, with larger, sharper images showing significantly more detail on part marking and quality control of decal placement. As a side note, I ordered a used item which was returned. I'm willing to bet it was brought back because of those issues.
