Reading previous reviews I thought it might be a good idea to buy this. I can always take it out and clean it, it has good odor control and the heating pad under the tank keeps it at a good temperature. I was planning on giving it 5 stars until I saw my leopard gecko trying to catch a grasshopper and missing. When he missed, his teeth got stuck in the carpet. That's because the material is like Velcro, and the gecko's teeth are thin enough to hook onto. He managed to break free before I could even react to help but now I'm nervous about keeping him in the tank. Instead I have to get another substrate.
