I bought this to straighten the treadmill in the hallway and couldn't straighten it. The force of the duct tape ripped off the backing of my rug and began to unravel the rug that had ruined it. I can't complain about that as it announces how powerful he is. What I can complain about is how many marks it left on my carpet and ruined the carpet throughout the hallway! leave marks on the carpet. I do not recommend if you use for this purpose. Really freaked out. I'm very annoyed with my sticky hallway and all this mess that I'll never pick up until I replace the carpet.
