Review on πŸ’‘ Moen 169031 MotionSense Faucet AC Adapter: A Convenient Service Kit for Moen Kitchen Faucets by Chris Cervantes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Poor quality/defective

We purchased and installed a touchless kitchen faucet from Moen Essie on 20th January 2020. We also purchased and installed the optional Moen 169031 PSU service kit. The proximity faucet worked great! However, our crane motion sensor has not been working for a week. I reset the faucet three times. It worked every time, but only for ten or twenty minutes. I noticed that the Power Splitter doesn't show AC power or battery usage. The only working light was a blinking green light in the left corner of the splitter. Decided to change the batteries even though they were only 5 months old. The splitter didn't indicate that the batteries needed changing, but I changed them anyway. The touchless faucet now works properly, except for the splitter and/or power adapter. The splitter still doesn't indicate that AC power or batteries are being used. It just flashes green again in the top left corner. I have tried to contact Moen but they make it difficult to reach her. I do not recommend buying this additional Moen product as it is very expensive and of poor quality. I don't pay more if the quality is right. It feels like I have a power supply with a splitter that doesn't do what it's supposed to. The batteries always seem to be on with no indication. Dr Bonnici
