Good alternative to the name brands

01-10’ 2500HD: These China UC’s are a good alternative to the RC $449 or Zone $600+ options. Not much in between. Ball Joints are tight. Almost too tight. But I assume they’ll break in. Some people complain about them not coming greased (ad says they do, they don’t). I prefer no grease because I’m adding my own certain type anyway. Are you guys not greasing you’re newly installed ball joints? Lol. Camber alignment isn’t dead center on cams but leaves enough room for castor adjustment. Micrometer reading on bushing width is the same as oem and Moog. Welds are solid. You will need to adjust your brake line. Open the clamp with a flat blade and spray WD-40 on it to slide the hose about an inch from the stock bracket. Overall I’d buy these again. Hopefully the ball joints last. Not sure how to find a replacement ball joint for these, but they could be replaced if someone has a part number.

Pros
  • The control arms can help improve handling and cornering ability by reducing body roll and sway during turns or high-speed maneuvers
Cons
  • Styling concerns
