I rated this 5 stars because the wheel saved me HOURS of time scraping dried decals off the boat. BUT. This is best used as the last step in a very long 3 step process/attempt. There were 3 types of decals on the boat, most of them were UV burned but some of them were durable and made of heavy duty metal/shiny little bugs. The first step was lots of heat from my hair dryer and I tried to clean and scrape as much as possible. Then I tried to play pranks (a complete failure for this hard crap), I gave up quickly. Surprisingly, I came across a gumout carb cleaner that glued and melted the toughest of this highly convoluted material. (although he also eats paint). Then, and only then, did I pull the wheel out to get into the thin ridges and grooves where the really strong materials were hiding. The wheel is soft and works like a giant eraser. That way it will dissolve and fall apart as you use it (I quickly realized that if I just "rolled" them it would take me about 10 wheels or more to peel off all the stickers). So if you have a BIG project (24 inch pontoon boat with the worst decals ever) and have a lot of time, order one. However, if you want to rip off the stickers in an hour or two, buy more than one. If you don't need them, just send them back. It took me maybe 18 hours of work to remove all the decals from the boat.
