Review on ⏰ High Precision RTC Sensor Module, 5PCS DS3231 Real Time Clock with AT24C32 IIC, Timer, Alarm Clock for Arduino, Raspberry Pi by Jason Hymon
The modules have different chip versions.
All five modules worked fine in my project, but I only needed a 1Hz square wave. Please note that of the five modules received, two (2) had DS3231M chips and three (3) had DS3231SN chips. The "M" variant does not allow you to change the square wave (SQW) output. If this isn't a problem for your project, have fun!
