I bought the Note3 and Lumi in February. Both immediately registered a guarantee, as did all the electronics. I bought a Revain Boox. The other is on FlexShopper to use the 90 day payment option. FlexShopper buys an item from Revain and then rents it to you. I'm not talking, you will understand why I offered this information. Anyway, one of my pens started writing on its own. Serious. I point the stylus at the tablet and it just draws. Obviously a broken pen. Instead of returning the tablet, I contacted Onyx support. First they asked for a video. I have made. Her first offer was to buy new nibs for the pen. Not that they send me feathers, but go and buy them. Since I have two machines, I moved my pen from one pen to the other (per their other suggestion) and still had problems. Now we both know the problem is with the stylus. Their last email stated that as one of the machines was purchased through FlexShopper (an unauthorized vendor) they are unable to replace the pen as it is from an unauthorized vendor. In other words, if you gift the item as brand new and the recipe registers it with Onyx for the warranty, will Onyx fail the warranty because the recipient did not purchase it from an authorized retailer? This company is dishonest. I spent over $1500 on two products and they will do everything in their power not to send a replacement pen. You know what? I am returning both tablets and looking at other options. I don't trust this company. I don't have to go through the hoops, especially when there is video evidence that I have a defective item.
