This box keeps the temperature much more stable than the analog box that came with my caravan. I have a feeling it makes the heating system more efficient, but I'm not sure if that's really the case. That may be wishful thinking. Anyway, the temperature of the trailer doesn't fluctuate that much, and I'm glad about that! Replacing the analog block wire with a wire isn't too bad, but you might want to learn how to wire before trying. Also, remember to turn off the power before replacing. I forgot a fuse when I installed it and it blew.
