That sucks! They are made from cheaper felt mixed with cat hair. I do not know. Several long fibers are mixed into it. They break up and leave these long fibers everywhere. They are likely to scratch softer materials. They are easily removed from the screw on the mandrel. With any type of friction, the "felt" pad rotates freely on the mandrel. It is impossible to polish anything without friction. Don't waste money. If you want to waste your money, send it to me. I'm sending you some tampons to put in your drill and get better results than those shits.
