Great concept, not very good execution.
I was really hoping they would work the way I thought they would. The app is buggy. I have one for both doors. Being the two of them, they seemed to conflict with each other. If you only have one door, you may have a better experience. I bought specifically for the function of the app. Unfortunately I had to go back.
