I had sound problems on my laptop. At first I thought it might be the speakers or the receiver I connected it to, but after troubleshooting online I realized it was the laptop itself. One of the things I read to fix the problem was to buy an external USB sound card. I was skeptical that something like this would solve my problem, but I didn't want to take my laptop apart to install a new sound card. I've decided why not try an external USB sound card. I was hoping I wouldn't have to spend a lot because I didn't want to lose a lot of money if that didn't solve my problem. Based on the many positive reviews and the reasonable price, I decided to try the Sabrent. It solved my audio problems and was easy to install and use. I hooked the receiver up to it along with a pair of Polk bookshelf speakers and it all sounds great. I might switch to something with better quality, but so far it's working great. Definitely recommend trying it out, especially for the price.
