This product can work well. May be. if you've only used it once or twice in an emergency. I was driving off-road and was looking for something to quickly inflate 4 31" tires after a day's ride. This pump worked fine the first 2 times I used it, but the cords/connectors were HOT after use. Almost every review says this, but I was willing to try it because of the overall rating. Today, 13 days, the return period has expired, the wires on the alligator clip adapter completely burned out when airing a tire. The 12v plug was still working so I started again and it burned up inside before the tire was fully inflated. Not at all satisfied with this product. If I hadn't used this pump directly, it could have started a fire. Don't buy this if you intend to use it frequently.
