I do wedding photography. I use nikkor 35mm 2.0 D., nikkor 85 1/4 D cameras D700 and D3. in apartments 85 is often too much. 50 just right. And so, having worked at several weddings with 50 mm, I understood. that it is suitable ONLY for the bride's preparations and in the registry office. He extremely dislikes even the slightest movement of objects. so it starts to stutter. sometimes thoughts were to sell it and buy a D version. I do not dissuade him from buying. But I repeat, it is only for static shooting objects. Of course it is sharp, bokeh and all that is great.
