Can't go wrong for the price, some quirks need fixing

** Update I'm having trouble connecting to the camera when I'm not at home. I bought a memory card and got a strange message again when I try to watch a video when I'm not at home. I'm trying to decide Says my phone and camera must be on the local network. I do not know what that means. Will update again if I find a solution. ** To update. I was told that you can only view memory card motion recordings if you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the camera. I had some issues with the camera resetting my networks randomly or had to reset multiple times. Not sure why this is happening. I also decided to try 30 free trial cloud services. I will update this experience. I have 3 cameras and the one with the memory card wouldn't stay connected to the cloud. When I took out the card, the problem was solved. I've posted pictures of what was in the box as well as some screenshots. Also an image of the correct search application. My husband downloaded the wrong app and it took us a while to figure out why he couldn't connect. But after that it was easy. I bought this camera to use as a baby monitor and also to check on our dogs when we are not at home. I haven't had a baby yet, so we're testing it right now to make sure it works well before the baby is born. My husband is in the military and will be sent abroad for the first 13 months after the baby is born. That way, he can watch live video, take screenshots, and hear his kid while he's away. This gives you the option to purchase a monthly cloud recording subscription. Or you can buy a micro SD card, which I did. You don't have to. It still works and records 10 second clips with motion. But it has limited storage space with no cloud or map. I've included a picture of the mounting hardware and SD card slot on the camera body itself. I plan to add a second and third camera. You can add up to 4 devices. Pros: + The initial setup is quick (5 minutes for both software and hardware) with its simple instructions. (After using the right app πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ) + The camera hardware is well built, looks good and is small, which I like. + The wide-angle lens is the best I've seen in terms of clarity and coverage. .+ Clear and crisp images and videos - day and night - of surprisingly good quality + Excellent sound and microphone. You get feedback when you open and approach a camera with sound. Also, don't put them near a fan.+ Wansview cloud apps for Android phones and iPhones are easy to install, use and configure. I have an iPhone and my husband has an Android. Both apps work well.+ When motion is detected, the camera sends alerts to my phone and 10 second video clips to the mobile app. We have dogs so we disabled this feature otherwise we would get constant alerts. You can do this through the app. + Allows the use of an SD card for additional recording options. + Allows the main user (the person who first sets up the camera with the phone app) to send an invitation to up to 3 other users who need to download the app, create an account and then we can also view the camera. + We both tested the connection in the app while we were away (he's abroad now) and had no problems connecting or viewing the camera. + Has a feature in the app that allows you to set multiple favorite positions that I like. This way if you move the corner around you can hit the potion and it will automatically return to it. Cons: (only one so far) - No sound detection alarm option (motion detection only). Maybe that will change in the future) Overall I would definitely recommend this camera considering the price, quality and ease of use.
