When tightening the 24mm strut nut, be sure to use an OTC 7544 24mm strut nut socket to ratchet the upper tube while tightening the strut nut with a 1/2" torque wrench. The OTC tool eliminates the use of a vise on the polished strut piston rod, which could damage the polished rod.
