I use a portrait mode PDF music reading stand and I love it. I've always wanted to have this rotation feature, but never did. I should have gotten it sooner. The height adjustment also comes in handy when you want to get up and do something, but still want a good view of the computer screen. I wouldn't mind if it tilted a little more than it does now. But the height adjustment and transition to portrait mode are smooth and easy to use once you get used to it. I hooked it up to my wattmeter and it only draws 9.7 watts and the case stays very cold, especially compared to my old flat TN. a panel that also had the disadvantage of being too bright even at a zero brightness setting. This monitor has a good range. I also think 23.8 inches is the perfect size for desktop display when you want to see everything well but don't want a wall of light in front of you. And of course the size and picture are good for this Full HD resolution. Not a single day of plastic smell or tampering odor, which has been a negative trait with almost every monitor I've had in the past. My current TV has been smelling for months. This monitor does not heat up, has no odor. beautiful design. In the end I'll buy a 4k monitor, but I thought it's better to wait, and the prices are falling a lot and they make them perfect. And to get a 4k monitor you also need a computer with a good graphics card that can handle that and I don't need a superduper computer for a few years or until I see how great the new version of flight sim will be, when it comes out in 2020. Warning: When you plug this in, Windows 10 will detect which model it is, but the driver won't take effect until you restart your computer. and there was motion blur on the video until I restarted the computer and then everything worked fine. What a relief! The thin matte black frame is ideal as it is non-reflective and the rim is just enough to hold it in place without touching the screen when the monitor is repositioned.
