I really expected these bulbs to have the different patterns I have on the cheap magic lights I've bought in the past. It's not like this. It appears to be 5 or 6 fast blinking patterns alternating between white and color. There is only 1 continuous white light and that is a rapid flash that induces seizures. Pros: - Great price - Ideal for tall trees - Easy to extend. Cons: - Only 1 white mode - No variation in flashing patterns - Lights all the way on or all the way off - Impossible to choose a color. It would be a good buy if the product allowed users to select specific colors, multiple colors, or white OUTDOOR lighting modes and then just flash the lights according to the mode. without color change. Also, there should definitely be more varied modes, like those used in most garlands.
