These are fantastic lights. The colors are wonderful. White is between super white and warm white. There is a nice shine. The different combination settings are really great and I love that I can choose colored or white light with the same filament. lit. I think I was too generous the first time. Lighting seems to work great My only complaint is that the stand feels very short. The description says 62 feet of lighted area. I figured 2 strands would be enough light. As you can see, I was barely halfway up the tree after two strands. I don't understand how it can be 62 feet when two barely cover half of my tree. Headlights work great, they look great too! My only complaint is that you can't connect one set of lights to another. We bought these for our Christmas tree and needed three strands of light, but none of them stick together. I bought these lights because I like colored light and my roommate likes white light. This strand was a good compromise! We actually put an extra strand of white light on top of the wood and it still didn't overwhelm the colors in that strand! I really expected these bulbs to have the different patterns I have on the cheap magic lights I've bought in the past. It's not like this. It appears to be 5 or 6 fast blinking patterns alternating between white and color. There is only 1 continuous white light and that is a rapid flash that induces seizures. Pros: - Great price - Ideal for tall trees - Easy to extend. Cons: - Only 1 white mode - No variation in flashing patterns - Lights all the way on or all the way off - Impossible to choose

Mode 6 is called SLO-GLO and is probably the closest thing to slow, but basically it's constant for a second, then quickly changes to a new color, stays constant for a second, transitions, repeats.
