I needed lights for the new 7 foot Christmas tree my family gave me. A filament beautifully illuminated the tree. Option 9 is a black to light, to black, to white transition. It's good enough, but 8 was steady. I think better control to always leave it with a color setting above white and let you mix them yourself would be great. - The instructions weren't in my package so although the timer button exists I have no idea if it was on or off or how to set it so I just controlled it manually. All in all, this is a nice long strand that will suit anyone who needs a single strand. You cannot connect several in series.
