Set consists of 2 pieces, copper shark tee and hammer dampener. The instructions assume that you understand your physical problem and need to decide how to orient the downcomer on the tee in relation to water flow. The orientation photo in the Amazon image was wrong for my app. Once installed (super quick and comfortable with a shark bite) the knock is almost gone.
