The 10th key was a charm!
Moving into our new home, a very helpful relative found a lockpick and tried to see if it would fit on the Chippendale secretary's door. Before I could say stop, the key turned and the door locked. The real key was taped in one of the drawers behind the lock door! Unfortunately the key that locked the secretary didn't work to open it. (Don't ask why, but I've been trying for hours). This set of 10 keys arrived quickly and I eagerly began testing each key one at a time. At the 9th key I started to lose hope, but BINGO! The 10th key was a charm! We have several other old items with the same old locks and I will be sure to keep this backup set in a place that CANNOT be locked!
