After purchasing 3 other martingale collars I finally found the perfect one! Martingale collars are great for dogs that are good at escaping and can do without their traditional collars. Max and Neo's collar is well made, durable, has a quick release buckle and metal chain. They really need a quick release buckle for security and the metal chain gives your dog a beep before the collar tightens. For larger dogs, the sturdy construction of this collar is a must. I bought another collar that is only 1/4 inch thick for my 60 pound 1 year old golden retriever. I didn't really believe that this collar would hold my pup in stressful situations. This Max and Neo collar is 2.5 cm thick, very durable material and comes in beautiful colors! Max and Neo also donate a collar for every collar purchased. The perfect martingale for my big pup!
