I had one before this purchase so figured it would suit me. This one seems well constructed and worked as I expected.It works simply: water fills a balloon which expands inside your tube until it forms an airtight seal, then the water is diverted and exits the end of the device in a jet..Pro: Works for clogs and is great for breaking up soft clogs Cons: If you have a sewer line that you suspect contains roots or some sort of 'hard object', this will most likely not work satisfactorily for you If the blockage is due to too much toilet paper or something "soft" in your line, it likely will work for you. If that doesn't work for you and your block is a reasonable distance from your hotspot, you'll probably need to rent a rotary machine from your local tool rental. PS You need to know what size sewer pipe you have so you can buy the right size. Most sewer lines are 3 to 4 inches in diameter. Much luck.
