Review on Samsung P2770HD 27 Inch Full HD Monitor with Built-In Speakers by Carlos Tardy

Bought this monitor about a month ago. This is my experience with it: Pros: 1. The overall look of the monitor is very sleek and stylish.2. I LOVE that this is a TV because having a remote control to change the volume (while playing games or listening to music on the PS3) is very useful. It's not really necessary, but it's nice that you don't always have to find the buttons on the bezel.3. The number of sockets this thing has is amazing! Connecting external speakers is very easy. It's surprisingly hard to find that many connections on a cheap TV these days, so it's really nice! I love the touch controls on the front of the monitor! They are responsive and very approachable. 3 year guarantee! Enough said. Cons: 1. I found the tail light was leaking. It's not bad, but I've also noticed that PS3 games look very blurry. I've tried various things people have suggested but nothing has solved the problem. When I changed the input name from HDMI to PC DVI everything just looked like a different layer on screen or matte (very gray washed out look). The problem is so bad I just contacted Revain and asked for a replacement. Suggestions: 1. Although I said it has plenty of ports, I thought an additional HDMI input and a couple of ports on the side for easy access would be a nice touch. Conclusion: I really like this monitor! It has excellent performance and very beautiful appearance. Just make sure you check the screen very well when you receive it! Can I recommend this to a friend? To be honest, a monitor is a screen. And I think it's missing. Well, unless the upcoming replacement is better than this one. NO. I would not recommend this to any friend.
