If you are not a fan of acrobats and have enough space between the back of the toilet and the wall, it is easier to pull out the toilet to replace the valve. The hardest part is getting the old valve out. Releasing the first clip is easy. Holding it up, pushing on the other clip, and pulling on the valve is the tricky part. While pushing the other clip with a screwdriver, I accidentally broke one of the screw hole towers. Luckily it wasn't what I needed. The old valve only had 1 screw. Use the two screws included in the kit to ensure the valve is seated properly and is not leaning to one side. This is the only reason I was able to get one with only three screw towers to hold the new valve in place.
