Unfortunately I had to cut the hole to exactly ΒΎ (0.75) inches. The larger of the three Neiko 10193A titanium step drills, which should actually drill up to 0.75 inches, actually does not measure 0.75 inches, but only 0.02 inches. It doesn't work for me. I was able to cut ΒΌ (0.25) inch thick steel with oil with little effort at low speed and moderate power with my hand drill. However, I decided to install a .745" thick locking pin and it doesn't fit. Because it cuts so well I gave it 3 stars out of 5, but I'm probably in a unique scenario where the hole is exactly .750". must be big.
