Bought lots of these to start mining. I built my first mining rig and started tweaking the BIOS to maximize my mining experience. I got it right and spent hours swapping out GPUs and reinstalling Windows and other operating systems. After a few hours and reading forums it was due to a malfunction of the risers. I do not recommend if you want to buy then buy more extra ones as they will be defective. 1/3 were buggy and 2/3 worked for me.
