NOT EXACTLY what I need to fix Fisher Paykel

I bought this driver so I can fix my dryer. I had to sand the outer wall as I knew it to fit the drum. Then I realized that for some reason the screwdriver has a curved and angular interior at the very edge of the screwdriver hole - it can't directly touch the nut I'm unscrewing! In this case, the nut will be pushed out, maybe a millimeter and a half, this driver will not catch. I had to sand the entire outside edge to get to the flat surface of the inside hole so I could mount it onto the nut. Otherwise everything was fine.
