Review on 🔒 6 ml Tube of Permatex 24024 Low Strength Purple Threadlocker: Enhance Thread Security by Brad Schillings

I've been looking for something not as strong as Blue Loctite 242 to hold the thumbscrews on an optic that might loosen over distance. 242 is a bit too heavy, especially with very small screws. I found this purple to be great for anti-vibration on sub-1/2" screws, making them behave similarly to the very thick thread sealant that Magpul puts on the included hardware. Compared to 242, little force is required to remove the screw. I've always been apprehensive about using 242 on smaller screws with a removal force for fear it might damage the screws. I found this to be a good anti-vibration screw lock.
