Review on π½ Danco 88904 Toilet Flange Repair Ring: Steel, [Finish], for 1/4 in or 5/16 in Closet Bolts by Joshua Gallegos
Counterclockwise rotation
Totally my fault as I assumed all toilet flanges had the same rotation for the mounting screw slots. This plate rotates counter-clockwise and my PVC flange rotates clockwise to lock the screws so the screw holes don't line up. The plate cannot be flipped because the mounting tabs are misaligned. When I came back and looked at the photos, it was clear that I hadn't taken that into account. Don't repeat the same mistake.
