Review on WASTE KING Moen EZ Mount Garbage Disposal Stopper and Splash Guard, Black - 1025 AMC Kitchen Products by Robert Wood

Before purchasing this product I saw a lot of negative reviews about it not letting food or water down the drain. because the rubber ribs are too hard. and that people had to constantly "pull it out" to drain the water from the sink. Didn't they hear about the end of the dishes? To be honest I've used garbage chutes most of my life and there was no point in complaining about it. I couldn't find many other products that would recycle my model AND included a stopper at this price point so I went with this product despite the reviews giving me some hesitation. OF COURSE, THIS PRODUCT WORKS PERFECTLY. It seems that a lot of the people who leave negative reviews on this fender don't really understand how these things are supposed to work. Maybe you are really tired, who came with your house/apartment to move in and have never seen a single one working normally? I'm not sure, but still this thing prevents large pieces of food or foreign objects like utensils from accidentally falling into the disposer like it should and also prevents water from splashing there when the disposer is running as it should. . It does NOT prevent water drainage (see my attached video). The fit in my Waste King disposal unit is pretty tight, so I don't see any shifting when pushing large pieces of food with the end of the bowl, which is sometimes necessary. but honestly you shouldn't be throwing big chunks of food down the drain anyway, read the garbage disposal guide if you don't believe me! Most large groceries can damage or clog the trash can, so they should be disposed of in the trash can, not down the drain. Smaller pieces of food can still get into the center hole along with most of the water.
