Review on ASUS VG28UQL1A 144HZ Gaming Monitor: Curved 4K Display with Flicker-Free Technology, Anti Glare Screen, and Blue Light Filter by Jose Ward

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The shadow enhancement looks great. Only ASUS does not have to send a new monitor with dead pixels

Unlike the TV, you're sitting right next to the monitors and the visible dead pixels on a brand new product that you'll be using for at least ten years, not exactly acceptably new out of the box. If it wasn't for the dead pixel then literally everything else was as expected, not as bright as a mixed backlit monitor but bright enough, speakers work, 4k looked great, shadow enhancement was an unexpected bonus playing these games in the dark would let environments be seen much easier. (Update, there is another one with no dead pixels, great looking monitor. The base has quite long legs, make sure you have enough space on your desk so you don't bump into the base with your mouse.) ASUS provides make some great monitors. bet 5/5.

Cons
  • Looks great, great handling but died after 2 months of use. Do not buy!!!
