Unlike the TV, you're sitting right next to the monitors and the visible dead pixels on a brand new product that you'll be using for at least ten years, not exactly acceptably new out of the box. I love this monitor and ASUS TUF products. First, I have an ASUS TUF 3080 Ti. I had a few minor issues with this monitor and couldn't figure out why. The display has issues turning on after waking up, turning on, and every time the display turns on. It was even worse with multiple displays. G-Sync and overclocking stopped working after a few weeks. It's like the HDMI 2.1 port no longer recognizes the HDMI 2.1 cable. I've tried both HDMI 2.1 ports and multiple 2.1 cables and nothing has changed.

This is a great monitor at a great price. I like the bezel design, it's simple and fairly flat with no weird curves on the back like some other gaming monitors. The image quality is excellent and the higher frame rate compared to 60 Hz monitors is noticeable. He does what he has to do. Now for the bad parts. They are gamers like me. They'll be using it at full 4k resolution and expecting 144fps, just like me. Your only option is DisplayPort and it won't work. OBVIOUSLY. UPDATE THE FIRMWARE FIRST. It is outdated and has many problems. Second: CONNECT USB. It's used for some kind of driver control or something like that. You, too, should only be a passer-by. My first 4k monitor, the picture quality and frame rate are just amazing and perfect for the price and once the system boots up properly this is an amazing monitor. That being said, my score remains low until ASUS provides an update to fix the boot issue. Enabling Game Mode in Windows 10 eliminated the harsh partial lighting on the black main display. However, despite disabling any settings that offer dynamic dimming or economy mode, the display dims every few minutes and is unpredictable. There is no set time to indicate a heater problem. The monitor is great for PS5. Comes with additional cables if required. Minus only as a speaker. But hey, something is better than nothing.

We bought a monitor last month and it already has a dead pixel. One would think that for such a price they would at least release quality hardware, but no. Now I'm stuck looking at this ugly pixel sticking out like a sore thumb.

I counted 3 stuck pixels on this monitor (2 green pixels and the other one emits purple so probably 2 stuck pixels) and I've only been using it for 3 weeks. Terrible screen quality although the frame rate is great but you would think a $750 monitor would work just fine but unfortunately it doesn't. I am returning this product.

Hi everyone, I chose this monitor to take full advantage of my gaming rig and upgrade my monitor to 1080p 144Hz. It was exactly what I was looking for and it performed well and met expectations in terms of gaming performance. A friendly reminder that you need a DisplayPort cable to achieve the 144Hz refresh rate; HDMI only enables 120Hz for this particular monitor.

This is the perfect monitor for Xbox Series X and PS5. It's easy to get 4K 120Hz with HDMI 2.1 and it looks great. Now all we need is a capture card to transmit 120hz, but that's another story lol.

This monitor is fantastic. It has everything you need in a gaming monitor at a relatively low price. I gave this monitor 3 stars because it randomly goes black for a second, but it never does during gaming, which is weird. Does anyone have a solution or similar problems?

In my opinion, buying this monitor was worth it as I like to have a crisp picture quality when gaming, but the brightness doesn't reach the level I want. I got used to it over time and I think everyone can get used to the brightness over time. Overall great product!

The monitor was great until it was. I was playing Ratchet and Clank on PS5 and paused the game for about 10 minutes. When I came back, the pause screen image was burned into the screen. Luckily I only had to keep an eye on it for about two weeks and was able to get it back. I hope mine was just defective and nobody else had this problem. After spending $800 on this item and having this problem, I decided not to buy another one. Asus lost my business with it. I will buy another brand.

The picture quality is excellent, but the volume leaves a lot to be desired. I had to buy additional external speakers to be able to see everything at all levels (browser sound, system sound, actual media sound) from any distance even at maximum volume.
