I was playing on the Benq Zowie TN panel and wanted to upgrade to a 1ms IPS monitor for shooter games. Honestly the response time doesn't compare to what Benqit says is 1ms but that's not true it seems like 3 or 5ms if you're looking for a real 1ms monitor and pro shooter games aren't the best, always check GTG 1ms. I went back to the benq zowie xl monitor instead.

Bought this monitor for gaming. After adjusting I noticed a few "broken" pixels, I guess you would call it. There were some babies who just didn't get the color, and we're green all the time. The exterior of the monitor looks great and comes with all the necessary cables. The sound is pretty impressive for a monitor and all connections are pretty cool. I wanted a better 4K gaming monitor than my old 60Hz Acer G-Sync display, but this one is too buggy to stomach. Oddly enough, the monitor works great when gaming, but when doing basic productivity tasks in Windows, it turns off momentarily about 2-3 times an hour. This is the best monitor I've ever used. I was a little worried about the shipping of this item but luckily UPS did a good job. During testing, this monitor plays 4k 120Hz very well on the Xbox Series X, and the colors and brightness are the best I've seen on a monitor. I always worry about being one of those 1 star reviews and of course it happens with an expensive purchase which I was looking forward to. The monitor came defective with a vertical stripe down the center left of the screen. I'm not sure how to do it, and I don't care at the moment either. Just disappointed.

No local dimming array, so no real HDR. Contrast and colors look really good and having 2 HDMI 2.1 ports is a godsend if you want to connect your computer and console to it.

I usually love ASUS monitors, but I didn't like this one and had to return it. It was too bright. Whatever I did to the brightness, contrast and gamma settings all looked awful and hurt my eyes. Some games like Sea of Thieves were unplayable the brightness was so bad. That was my only problem with the monitor, but it's a big problem.

It works as it should and the picture is perfect. My only complaint is the difficulty in changing the entrances. Otherwise I like this monitor.

I use it with my Xbox Series X and a laptop connected to it. It works great with everything I've thrown at it, it works like a champ, love it, it's worth the price in my opinion.

This was my last Asus purchase. $800 and Asus can't release a monitor without core features that have been around for decades. Random speaker noise - only twice so far2. The biggest disadvantage: does not recognize the signal when it is. Makes it almost impossible to enter my bios or access the troubleshooter menu while holding down Shift while restarting Windows. Makes using this monitor to set up a new computer a hassle.

I just switched to 4K gaming on my new PC and the 144Hz refresh rate with G-Sync made this monitor an easy choice. I have an Asus rtx 3080 with HDMI 2.1 support so I thought I would use an Asus monitor with HDMI 2.1 support. It took me a while to figure out that in order to update 144hz you have to set this yourself in the monitor's settings as there were no instructions, but I ended up getting what I was looking for and am very happy!

All in all, this is a great monitor. This is my second Asus monitor and I am very happy with the quality and performance. HDR is not so good in dark scenes 😕. Apart from that, its great graphics impress with sharpness and 4k clarity.
