For 1998 Honda Civic. Pretty easy to install. I drained the coolant from the radiator first to avoid spilling coolant when replacing it. The radiator hose can be pushed back about an inch to make room for a wrench. It has an o-ring, but I use some Hondabond sealant or ultra gray sealant on the threads as insurance. Don't overtighten, of course. This circuit has a relay and 2 grounds, but it's not difficult to isolate the problem. If you unplug and just connect the jumper wire directly to the battery and the fan works, then that switch is the problem. Now my fan is working properly again.
