Review on Lithonia Lighting 4JBK ADJ 90CRI by Malacia Hernandez

I'm a contractor, our client specified this so we're using it. I like the look and the price seems reasonable. We have them on the switch now and while they work fine we'll see how they work with the dimmer if we do electrical trimming. **** EDIT Lithonia specs have dropped. For example, from their list of "compatible dimmers" they have the Lutron DV-603P and the DV-600P - both dimmers for incandescent and halogen lamps. Some of the others they list are for low voltage, these lights are mains bulbs. Tried 600P, no luck dimming, tried Lutron CL Dimmer (not listed - for LED, Incandescent and Halogen) dims but light flickers when other lights in room are on. I had 2 stars but just decided to downgrade it to 1 star. What annoyed me is that the ceiling cut-out template that comes with the lamps is round - they are square. When using a round template, the light edge hardly covers the lateral openings. If some of the plaster splintered when the hole was cut it would be visible and would need to be repaired, repainted etc. Unfortunately we cut all the holes before installing any of the fixings and had to fix 3 of the 6 cut outs. Outs - it was worth the star deduction! In the future I would use a template for centering and alignment, but cut a smaller hole - maybe 1/2 inch smaller in diameter? You can always do more! Since the price is quite reasonable, I would probably buy another pair if I canceled early. If they are ever hired, good luck finding a suitable replacement. EDIT --- pass it on. Too many problems. It seems to me that this is a product of "home center".
